Mamma’s Make-Up Confessions

We all have our addictions or hobbies.  Mine just so happens to be buying makeup.  I’m a non-discriminatory buyer.  I buy from Wal-Mart, Mac, Sephora, Target…you name it.  If it looks pretty, I’ll take two!  Since my departure from the Army last summer I’ve really gotten interested in makeup, nail polish, hair styles, fashion etc.  You could say I’ve regained my style and girly tendencies–which I love!  Working in such a relaxed environment, I have fun experimenting with my hair, makeup and clothes everyday.   

Last month one of my dear friends started a line of organic makeup and skin care products–Angelberry Organics.  Understanding my addiction to beauty products, the Creative Director of Marketing + PR agreed to let me sample a few products before their official launch in Fall 2010! 

This morning I decided to document my stages of makeup, to show you how I used my Angelberry products.  They were fabulous!

The first shot is straight out of the shower–sorry for that!  Next you can see I applied my usual foundation (Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet +) and powder (Sephora pressed powder).  The third pic includes my new products!

I used Angelberry Organics brown mineral eyeliner, mineral shimmer powder on my cheekbones and a gorgeous mineral lip stick in color 169.  I’m not normally a lipstick kind of girl, but this is definitely my new go to color!  It wasn’t too bright, and was a cool/neutral plum shade.  It was so smooth and stayed on all day!  Love it.
